Kilauea Lava's Forward Flow Stopped

The forward flow of lava from Hawai’i’s Kilauea volcano has been paused since Thursday, county officials said on November 3, although they were monitoring breakouts further upslope from Pahoa village. None of those breakouts posed any immediate threat, they said. Lava has been pouring out of the volcano since June 27. Credit: County of Hawai’i
