More than 40 dead and 180 injured in Beirut suicide blasts

More than 40 people are reported dead and 180 are wounded after twin suicide blasts in a southern suburb of Beirut, a stronghold of the Lebanese Shi’ite militant group Hezbollah. Police say two men blew themselves up in front of a shopping centre in the busy commercial and residential district of Borj al-Barajneh.
