NASA Test-Fires Engine for Its 'Most Powerful Rocket Ever Built'

NASA test-fired one of four RS-25 engines, which power its Space Launch System, at the Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Missouri, on Thursday, June 11. The space agency branded the system the “most powerful rocket ever built” to send astronauts to an asteroid and ultimately, to Mars. This video shows the powerful firing of a RS-25.
