NYC Mayor Welcomes France's Chief Rabbi

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio spoke on February 19 about the atmosphere of indifference of the dangers to Jews in France before the Paris shooting. De Blasio’s comments were in welcoming Rabbi Haim Korsia, chief rabbi of France, to the city. The mayor visited Paris not long after the shooting, and he said his trip was a reminder that there cannot be a repeat of history. Korsia was to speak about anti-Semitism in the evening at the synagogue. Credit: YouTube/NYC Mayor’s Office
