Pacific Island of Vanuatu Braces for Cyclone Pam Impact

The Pacific island nation of Vanuatu braced for the impact of Tropical Cyclone Pam on Friday, March 13. The Category-5 storm was forecast to directly hit Vanuatu with wind gusts expected to reach 174mph (280km/h). The Vanuatu National Disaster Management Office said a red alert was in place for six provinces.
