Protesting Truck Drivers Block Sao Paulo Roads

Brazilian truck drivers protested against rising fuel prices by blocking roads for a seventh day on Tuesday, February 24, causing further price rises and shortages in fuel supplies. In some parts of the country, classes have been cancelled since Monday as protests spread across 10 states. In Sao Paulo, protesting drivers blocked access to Brazil’s largest port, Porto de Santos, threatening exports.
