'Rivers in the Streets,' Tbilisi Resident Describes Floods

Severe flooding across Georgia’s capital city left at least twelve people dead on Sunday, June 14, according to local reports. Several animals, including lions, tigers, and bears, escaped from the city’s zoo, prompting local authorities to ask residents to remain indoors, except in the case of an emergency.
