Smoke Billows From Steel Plant Fire Near Tokyo Airport

A fire at a steel plant in Kawasaki city, next to Tokyo International Airport, sent thick black smoke pouring into the sky on Monday, August 24. The fire broke out just after 11:30 a.m. in a cooling tower owned by Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal, according to AFP.
