SNP Wants to 'Lock' Conservatives Out of Downing Street

Scotland’s First Minister and Scottish National Party leader Nicola Sturgeon called on the Labour party to join forces with the SNP “in a vote of confidence to lock David Cameron out of Downing Street.” Sturgeon was speaking at the SNP’s campaign conference in Glasgow Saturday, March 28.

Although the SNP’s bid for Scottish independence was unsuccessful during last September’s referendum, the party received a huge membership boost and now has more than 100,000 members.
