South Carolina Floods Sweep Vehicles Off Street

Some of the worst flooding ever seen in South Carolina left at least nine people dead and hundreds in need of rescue on Sunday, October 4. Days of heavy rains from a nor’easter off the east coast led to road closures, which included sections of two highways, authorities told residents to stay at home.
