Taiwanese Dam Discharges Flood Water After Typhoon Dujuan

Shihmen Dam in the northern Taiwanese city of Taoyuan discharged an estimated 30 million cubic meters of water on Tuesday, September 29, after Typhoon Dujuan swept across Taiwan on Monday. The water level at the dam was around six feet from the maximum capacity as of 3pm Tuesday local time.
