Thick Smoke Billows From Big Bear Brush Fire

The Summit Fire, burning near California’s Big Bear Lake, had burned 100 acres by 7pm on Sunday, August 23. The fire was reported just after noon local time and was 30 per cent contained on Sunday evening. Around 400 homes were evacuate and several roads were closed in the area because of the Summit Fire.
