US 'Committed' to Japan's Security Over All Territories

Japan and the US agreed to new defense guidelines on April 28 that allow Tokyo to play a larger role in its security in the Asia. The guidelines were made during Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s official visit to Washington. President Barack Obama said the US remained committed to Japan’s security over all territories, including the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea, which are also claimed by China.
