Vice President Biden Hosts Luncheon for Chinese President Xi Jinping

Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry hosted a luncheon for Chinese President President Xi Jinping in the Benjamin Franklin room at the Department of State on Friday, September 25. The luncheon was attended by an illustrious guest list including Henry Kissinger and Timothy Cook, the chief executive of Apple.

Biden praised the US-China relationship, “through the leadership of President Obama and President Xi, our nations are now collaborating to tackle some of the most complex global challenges the world has ever seen”.
