Video Shows Gay Couple Hit by Chair in NYC Restaurant

Video shows a man bashing a chair over a couple’s heads at Chelsea Dallas BBQ in New York City on May 5. The couple claims they were attacked because “they knew we weren’t their type of people,” according to DNAinfo. The couple refused medical attention at the scene. The incident is under investigation by the NYPD, but it has not been labeled a hate crime.
