Viewers slam Lorraine Kelly for wishing Ant McPartlin well after 'drink-driving' crash but not the victims
Lorraine viewers have slated host Lorraine Kelly for wishing Ant McPartlin well but not the victims of the crash he was involved in.
The host was discussing her ITV colleague’s arrest on suspicion of drink-driving with showbiz reporter Dan Wootton when she acknowledged criticism she’d received for supporting him.
"I know I got a lot of stick for wishing him well yesterday but thank goodness it was not worse," she said.
Wootton, who did acknowledge the victims, replied: "This is a really serious matter for a lot of reasons. Thank goodness no-one was seriously injured in that incident. Because everyone did walk away uninjured, then you do look at Ant’s health and what’s gone wrong.
#lorraine havnt heard an once of sympathy for the people ant crashed into, if he had problems he shouldnt have been anywhere near a car never mind driving it, that to me says he had no consideration for other people lorraine and dan talking like he is the victim

Can't believe Lorraine and her sidekick fawning all over ant, they should tell it how it is and that is he's a drunk, should never have been driving and deserves all that's coming to him... although I expect that won't be a lot.
