Paloma Faith may be left 'Picking Up The Pieces' of her words, as The Voice UK winner Mo Jamil has hit back at her after she criticised the show.

Mo has told Radio Times that Faith needs to "check her facts" after she claimed in an interview that The Voice UK doesn't support its artists enough after the show ends.

Earlier this year, Paloma said: "There's no system in place to support the artists. It's just like, all right, we've finished filming, off you go."

However, she added that she doesn't think this is the case on shows like The X Factor.

"Simon Cowell supports the people on his shows," she said. "He's emotionally invested in making it work because he doesn't want to ever be defeated. I don't think there's anyone else doing that."

But Mo, who is the reigning champion of The Voice UK, has said he'd "disagree" with Paloma's opinion.

"I don't know what happened in past years, but I can say that since I've won, everything's been great for me," he said. "I think maybe she should check her facts, as I've had support from day one.

"I've had a lot of support and a lot of people around me to try and prepare me for this moment. I've had a manager since I came off The Voice and they've been very supportive, I'm always in contact with my label and I've had lots of meetings to help prepare me for this.

"I'm not sure where she got her facts from, but I'm really happy."

He absolutely doesn't agree with Paloma at all then...

Mo became the sixth winner of the ITV singing show in April 2017, having been mentored by Jennifer Hudson.

His debut album Evolve is due out on March 30.

Paloma was actually a judge on The Voice UK herself during the 2016 series, alongside now-departed judges Boy George and Ricky Wilson – as well as will.i.am, who is still going strong on the show.

But judging from her words, she won't be coming back to the panel anytime soon.

The seventh series of The Voice UK is currently airing on ITV.
