Sofia Richie Grainge and Elliot Grainge have been all coupled up since April 2021, and the two low-key high-key had the wedding of all weddings last year at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, a luxury hotel in Antibes, France. No, seriously — their wedding day was all anyone could talk about for weeks, and Sofia's "quiet luxury" aesthetic was suddenly being heard loud and effing clear.

He's going to be a dad!
That's right — Elliot and Sofia are expecting a baby girl and dear reader, she's reportedly going to be a Gemini (!!!). According to an exclusive interview Sofia had with Vogue, Elliot was "so excited" upon hearing the news.

Upon returning to LA from Milan Fashion Week, Sofia said she prepared for a night out (at an Ed Sheeran concert, no less) by taking a pregnancy test out of caution. "I kind of knew it was going to be a boozy night, and I was a few days late on my period, and I wanted to be generally safe, so I took a test," she told the publication.
"Elliot was already used to me taking tests randomly...So he didn't really flinch when I said I was checking. I was taking one of those really crappy at-home tests, and there was the faintest of lines. I was so used to seeing negatives that I knew when something looked even kind of different."
Sofia also revealed that she sent Elliot to grab three more pregnancy tests. As for his reaction? "He was so excited. We spoke the whole way on the phone...When we turned over all three tests at the same time they were all positive," Sofia dished. "He was so excited, and we both cried. It was crazy and overwhelming and so hard not to scream it from the rooftops." Congrats to these two! 🥹
Elliot and Sofia ~officially~ got married in 2023!
And it’s truly the most iconic wedding we’ve seen in a while. Like, let's start off with the fact that the bride had not one, not two, but three (!!) wedding dresses for the occasion. Oh, and they just so happened to be custom Chanel designs. Casual!
Speaking to Vogue, Sofia revealed, “I was extremely intimidated coming into these fittings just because Chanel is such a big house.” “But they were so open to hearing my thoughts and suggestions, and they were so lovely to work with, and I adore everyone that I got to know along the process. It’s something I’ll never forget.”

Working in the music industry quite literally runs in Elliot’s DNA — his father is Lucian Grainge, chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group. Not impressed? After witnessing his dad’s work firsthand, Elliot quickly became obsessed with learning the ins and outs of the music industry. “I was a weird kid who used to read the music trades,” he told Variety. “What I noticed about my father’s negotiating style was how transparent, honest, and sensible he was. When you put your cards on the table like that, negotiating is less competitive and more about teamwork. How can we get this done together so that everybody is happy?”
Some other random facts about Elliot’s dad — he’s casually referred to as Sir Lucian Charles Grainge, CBE, meaning that he’s been awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for his contributions to the arts and sciences!
Elliot’s dad is also pretty good friends with Simon Cowell and used to have him over on weekends while he was living in England.

Elliot grew up in England and later moved to the United States in 2009 after his father became the CEO of Universal Music Group. He attended Northeastern University in Boston.
Sofia’s family approves of him
When Entertainment Tonight first reported that Elliot and Sofia were dating, the outlet explained they “have been friends for years and Elliot is also close with Sofia’s brother, Miles. It’s very nice for Sofia to date someone who her family approves of and likes.”
In November 2021, Sofia posted a picture of her and Elliot for his birthday, with a caption that read, “You are everything to me. I love you, happy birthday babe. ❤️🔥” Her big sis Nicole Richie hopped in the comments to share her appreciation for Elliot too. “Elliot I love you more than you love Instacart,” wrote Nicole. While ET initially said that Sofia and Elliot were “happy together and having fun” last April, an Us Weekly source at the time suggested that things were a biiiiit more than that. “They started out as friends before they became a couple and are now getting serious,” an insider told the outlet. “Their relationship took off and they have been getting closer and closer and spend practically every day together.” In hindsight, it looks like the latter source hit it right on the nose!
