WandaVision episode 9 viewers all have the same Doctor Strange question after finale
WandaVision finale day is upon us – and fans of the show are reacting to the lack of a big cameo they were predicting.
The inventive Disney Plus Marvel TV show has drawn to a close with its ninth episode, which was released on the streaming service on Friday (5 March).
Viewers were anticipating one final twist, though, in the form of an appearance from one of Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision’s (Paul Bettany) fellow Avengers.
The expectation was that Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) would show up at some point in the extended episode. This was mainly due to the fact that Wanda will be a main character in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, which is set to be released in 2022.

Me when I watched the #WandaVisionFinale and it just ended with no other marvel characters, Quicksilver isn’t Quicksilver but rather Ralph Bohner, Vision didn’t become one with White Vision, and no Doctor Strange: pic.twitter.com/m6TdwRIIZs

WandaVision set up the new Doctor Strange film thanks to the inclusion of the Darkhold, which heralds a terrifying new chapter for the MCU.
Elsewhere, fans were left unimpressed by the explanation of Evan Peters’ appearance in the series as Pietro.
