The brother of an 18-year-old man who was stabbed to death by a love rival has called for the self-styled “Snapchat Queen” who orchestrated his killing to spend years behind bars.

Fatima Khan, 21, set up the fatal knife attack on her on-off boyfriend Khalid Safi and filmed a video on her phone as the Afghan asylum seeker lay dying on the pavement.

She then posted the footage on Snapchat with the caption “this is what happens when you f*** with me” and sent it to her friends.

Khan was convicted of manslaughter for orchestrating the attack on Mr Safi outside a Costa Coffee shop in Acton on December 1, 2016. She was due to be sentenced at the Old Bailey this week.

The man accused of carrying out the stabbing, Raza Khan, is still at large.

Mr Safi’s brother Shamsullah, 25, from Southall, today demanded justice as he called for lengthy jail sentences for both. “We want them in prison for as long as they can get. They should get life,” he said. “I will be in court and I will tell my mum and dad, and my brothers and sisters in Kabul the sentence they get. My mum and dad want justice for their son.

“I will not forgive them, they took my brother’s life. How could I forgive them?”

Fatima Khan, a self-confessed Snapchat addict, admitted during her trial that she was “ashamed” of the video of Mr Safi’s wounded body, but denied having anything to do with planning the attack.

However, the court heard there was evidence of collusion with 20-year-old Khan, an ex-boyfriend, including her messaging to meet outside the Costa where she was with Mr Safi. Fatima Khan calmly filmed the aftermath of the stabbing, instead of going to help her wounded boyfriend, and continued to post messages and pictures on Snapchat that evening.

A jury acquitted her of murder but she was found guilty of Mr Safi’s manslaughter in July.

Her defence barrister Kerim Fuad QC described Khan to jurors as “Ilford’s Snapchat Queen” and said she saw more of life on her phone than through her eyes.

Shamsullah Safi, a Tesco shop manager, said his younger brother had come to London from Afghanistan aged 13 to “start a new life” and to flee the “daily fighting” in their home city of Kabul. Khalid worked at a shop and was enrolled on a college business management course.

“I was always talking to him. He was a good guy. He always had a smile on his face, always a happy person. He was polite and respectful to everyone,” his brother said. “I will never forget him. I love him a lot. I cannot forget him.”

A Scotland Yard spokesman said police are still appealing for information on Raza Khan’s whereabouts.

Anyone with information should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
