‘Warm walk home’ for uninsured driver that was ‘familiar with police’

A driver, who is familiar to police, is awaiting a day in court after being pulled over by Blackburn with Darwen police.

After some investigation, it was found that the car was uninsured. It was seized by police.

The driver was reported and is set to attend court.

A police spokesperson said: “The one day you don't want to be without air conditioning...

“The below vehicle was spotted with an all too familiar driver on board.

“Enquiries revealed the car had no insurance and as such was seized. The driver was reported for the offence and will attend court in due course.

“A warm walk home for this driver.”
