Just in case you've had enough of all the dating shows currently clogging up your telly schedule, there's yet another one coming very soon – only we're talking about an all-time classic.

Yep, Channel 4's reboot of Streetmate is finally here, and it's hosted by former Goggleboxer and current Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffat.

Watch the first trailer below:

The original series was of course presented by Davina McCall and aired from 1998 to 2001.

Unlike First Dates (or Love Island or Make of Break? or Naked Attraction... ok we'll stop now), the premise of Streetmate sees the host – in this case, Scarlett – hit the streets all over the country to send unsuspecting contestants on impromptu blind dates.

When she got the gig all the way back in January, Scarlett enthused: "I can't believe Channel 4 have asked me to present this iconic show. I remember watching Davina on Streetmate when I was younger and thinking, 'Females can present entertainment shows too. I want to do that when I'm older.'

"It's such a fun show and it's two of my favourite things to do, chat to randomers and a love story."

And judging by the trailer, Scarlett's bubbly nature really does seem perfect for the job.

You might have forgotten by now, but Streetmate was actually brought back on ITV2 in 2007 with This Morning's Holly Willoughby as host.

Then, it came back for a Stand Up To Cancer one-off special last year with the return of Davina as she hunted for a man for cancer survivor Sophie.

The new Streetmate will start next Monday (August 21) at 5.30pm on Channel 4.
