Watch Fran Drescher Thank Her Housekeepers of 30 Years with a Home Makeover: ‘People I Truly Love’ (Exclusive)

Drescher teams up with Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott for the meaningful renovation in an exclusive first look at this week's 'Celebrity IOU'

Fran Drescher is giving the gift of a lifetime to her longtime housekeepers who've become friends.

In this week’s episode of Celebrity IOU, the actress, 66, is calling on Drew and Jonathan Scott to help revamp her housekeepers’ family home. After 30 years of Angelica and Roman's unwavering love and support, Drescher says she hopes to reciprocate a little of what they've shown her.

“There is your biological family and then there's your logical family, and I think that they're my logical family,” she says.

PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at the episode (above) where Drescher puts the finishing touches on the remodel while the couple is out of town visiting family in Guadalajara, Mexico. Both the actress and the Property Brothers get a little choked up ahead of the reveal.

"They're just such wonderful people and it's just such a great gift," Drescher tells the twins. "My mascara's gonna run right before they get here!" she adds trying to hold in the tears.

Angelica and Ramon, who immigrated to Los Angeles from Mexico, have lived in the house for decades, building a community and raising their three children there. The Nanny star says she hopes the remodel will bring life back into a home where so many memories live.

“It gives me pleasure to help people I truly love,” Drescher says in the episode. “They’re the most salt of the earth, wonderful people.”

Over the years, Drescher says Ramon and Angelica have been there for her through the good and the bad, and that showed their true love for her.

“I’m a cancer survivor and they were there to help me through that — from the first time I got diagnosed, they stood by me and supported me,” she explains. “I went through a painful divorce, they were there for me. It wasn't an easy time. I’m sure I wasn't easy to be around.”

“I feel so blessed to know Ramon and Angelica,” she added.

With only one month to complete renovations while Angelica and Ramon are away, the episode is a race to the finish line. As Drescher and the team begin, they brighten up the walls, and install a new kitchen — which includes a dishwasher, something the family never had before — while also tackling a termite problem in the ceiling.

When the couple finally returns from their trip, the Scott brothers have just put their finishing touches on the house.

Both Ramon and Angelica get emotional and thank Drescher, “I never imagined that could happen to us,” Ramon says.

Angelica, who loves to cook, notes that she can’t wait to make tamales for her family in their new kitchen as Ramon fights back tears. “Beautiful house, beautiful kids, my beautiful wife — my American dream came true,” Ramon says.
