How to watch the International Women’s Day concert with Karen O, St. Vincent and Meg Myers in Los Angeles

This International Women’s Day, powerful female performers are teaming up for an iHeartMedia concert.

IHeartMedia radio stations are also making an effort to feature more female performers than ever. Participating artists include Gwen Stefani, Halsey, Bebe Rexha and Sabrina Carpenter.

To celebrate IWD, LA station Alt 98.7 is hosting a Women Who Rock concert in partnership with the Amazon Original Series HANNA, featuring some of alt-rock’s most famous women. Yeah Yeah Yeahs lead singer Karen O, St. Vincent, Lykke Li, Donna Missal, Meg Myers and K. Flay are joining forces. Karen O will also be singing her new song, “Anti-Lullaby,” which is the theme tune for HANNA.

“This year’s artist participation spans a range of ages, demographics and musical genres and is representative of the collective power of women in music - both today and for the future,” iHeartMedia SVP/Artist Relations Marissa Morris said.

Insider caught up with Myers before the show to talk about the popularity of her recent Tiny Desk Concert and what IWD means to her.

“To me, it feels like a celebration of the power of femininity and recognition of being awesome,” Myers said about International Women’s Day.

The Tennessee-born musician has been making music in Los Angeles for over a decade. With her recent emotional and raw performance of "Jealous Sea" and "Tear Me to Pieces," she’s been in the news more than ever for her "ferocious" performance.

“It’s really been so amazing, the reaction,” she said about the immediate response. “So much love and excitement. There is definitely a very special energy around this song release, unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I’m so happy people are feeling and hearing this message of compassion.”

As for who she’s most excited to see on the line-up? It’s hard for her to choose, but she’s a self-professed Karen O super fan. Perhaps a "Maps" duet is in the cards.

The concert’s taking place tonight at 7 pm in Los Angeles - but if you’re not in LA, you can watch a livestream here.
