Watch: London Mayor Hopeful Asks To Live In Your House In AWFUL Campaign Video

A man who hopes to be the next Mayor of London has unveiled his latest campaign video - and it’s a real stinker.

Businessman Ivan Massow wants to be the Conservative candidate for next year’s election but based on this video, he’ll be lucky to secure a single vote.

The 47-year-old has produced a video where his face sits oddly on top of a cartoon, asking if he can stay at your house.

That’s right - he wants to have a sleepover with Londoners so he can find out what really makes you mad about living in the capital city.

The video itself seems to have come straight out of a sixth-form college art project - and one made by someone who doesn’t even want to be on the course.

Awful editing shows Massow surrounded by some weird clip art as he wants to know what would make London better.

Talking like a cardboard cut out, the mayoral hopeful doesn’t seem to quite be able to match the wit, sparkle or charisma of current London mayor, Boris Johnson.

After making his pitch he tells us: “I want to make sure my policies make your London better.

“So please, can I come and live with you?”

A pause for comedy effect does nothing for the delivery (and slightly creepy tone) of the final line: “I promise to be good.”

He wants to go to the pub with you, see where you work and probably meet your pals - but he only wants to stay over for one night.

The current favourite to be Tory candidate is MP Zak Goldsmith.

Still, you might need to close your curtains for a while, just in case Ivan does come a-knocking.
