Watch music legend Nile Rodgers stop Chic's Halifax Piece Hall show to give England fans a very important update

Nile Rodgers and Chic wowed the crowd at Halifax Piece Hall on Sunday evening.

The Father’s Day performance did clash with England’s opening Euro 2024 match with Serbia. Although, that didn’t stop the masses getting funky with the historic venue packed out.

Le Freak, Good Times, Everybody Dance, Upside Down, Like a Virgin, Let’s Dance, I Want Your Love and Lost In Music were some of the concert’s musical highlights. Towards the end of the set, Nile, 71, stopped proceedings to give a very important update.
