WATCH: Philadelphia Zoo Debuts Four Adorable Baby Lemurs – and They're Already Making Mischief

The Philadelphia Zoo recently welcomed four baby lemurs and they had their big debut on Friday.

A press release from the zoo describes the babies – Lincoln, Theodore, Quincy and Madison – as playful siblings who "bounced around the exhibit and hung upside-down by their feet to eat treats such as apples and bananas."

The lemurs' birth in February signifies the zoo's commitment to preserving the breed of black-and-white ruffled lemurs, a critically endangered species.

"Guests came out to welcome the leaping lemurs, who are now on exhibit with their mom and dad in PECO Primate Reserve," the zoo said in their press release.

"This important birth is exemplary of Philadelphia Zoo’s commitment to conservation as black-and-white ruffed lemurs are listed as Critically Endangered in their native home of Madagascar by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) due to poaching and habitat loss."

The zoo also shared a video on YouTube featuring the leaping lemurs in their habitat, which you can watch above.
