WATCH: Stranger Things release epic season two trailer

It was the Netflix series that took the world by storm last year and now Stranger Things is well and truly back.

Yes, at yesterday’s San Diego Comic Con, Netflix premiered a new trailer for the supernatural show’s highly-anticipated second season, and it looks even more gripping than season one.

Jam-packed with ’80s nostalgia, including Ghostbusters’ fancy dress and a brilliant Michael Jackson soundtrack, season two will answer all of the questions that have been left hanging in the air since the end of the last series; like what happened to Eleven? And how is poor old Will Byers coping after his traumatic experience in the Upside-Down?

Our favourite kids are back.

Although we are sure that there will be plenty of twists and turns ahead, the trailer did confirm four very important things:

1. Eleven is determined to push her way back into the real world.
2. Will isn’t coping all that well with the PTSD of what happened to him last season.

The ’80s nostalgia is very, very real.

3. The Upside-Down is somehow seeping through into the real world and basically nobody is safe.
4. The young Stranger Things’ cast are still unbelievably talented.

Stranger Things returns to Netflix on October 27th, just in time to guarantee us all a seriously spooky Halloween.

We can hardly wait.
