Waterloo Road viewers rejoice at Kim and Andrew reunion
The latest episode of the school drama saw ex head teacher Andrew Treneman make a surprise return to the school.
Waterloo Road fans were delighted to see Angela Griffin and Jamie Glover reunited on screen in the BBC school drama.
The pair play Head Teacher Kim Campbell and former Head Teacher Andrew Treneman in the TV show whose relationship ended after series four when Andrew broke Kim's heart by leaving to work in a school in Rwanda.
The latest episode of the series - which has been revived for a 12th series after an eight year hiatus - saw Andrew make a surprise return to the school to help with a new knife crime initiative.

On being introduced to him Kim said: "Can you tell Mr. Andrew Treneman he can go jump off a cliff?"
But the chemistry quickly built between the characters and fans were rejoicing at the hope they might rekindle their romance.
One tweeted: "Seeing Andrew and Kim on screen together again makes me feel too many emotions #WaterlooRoad."
Another said: "I hope Kim Campbell and Andrew Treneman get married. Long term storytelling. #WaterlooRoad"
And another gushed: "Love Andrew being back would love a happy ending for him and Kim #waterlooroad"
Glover is also seen as a heartthrob by many Waterloo Road fans, who are just pleased he is back full stop.
One said: "Omg Treneman it's not been the same without you #WaterlooRoad"
Another shared: "Well Treneman as got hotter in his old age #WaterlooRoad."
And many just shared excited GIFs and photos of Glover in appreciation.
Griffin and Glover starred in the first series of Waterloo Road when it launched in 2006. The show came to an end in 2015 after 10 series, only to be revived this year with original cast members returning.
The first of seven new episodes aired on BBC One at 8pm on Tuesday 16 May and will continue weekly, but all the series is available to watch on iPlayer.
Some fans have already watched the entire series.
