West Ham Fans Return to London Stadium as COVID-19 Restrictions Ease

Two-thousand West Ham United supporters returned to London Stadium on Saturday, December 5, to watch the home side face Manchester United in the first Premier League match attended by fans since March.

The Hammers supporters were dispersed throughout the stadium as mandated by the UK government’s Tier Two COVID-19 restrictions for outdoor gatherings.

Video from Rob Pritchard shows the crowd applauding as the players made their entrance. “They’re back and they’re loud!” he wrote in a caption.
