West Ham team news: Javier Hernandez starts up front against Brighton
Javier Hernandez has overcome a midweek hamstring problem to start as West Ham look to break the top ten in the Premier League against Brighton tonight.
With Andy Carroll suspended after his red card at Burnley last weekend, the former Manchester United striker leads the line for Slaven Bilic, having been deployed out wide at times this season to accommodate for the No.9.
Having made his first start of the season at Turf Moor, Manuel Lanzini is named in a starting eleven at London Stadium for the first time since last season’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool.
Winston Reid is the only player, from either side, who were involved the last time these two sides met in April 2012, when a Ricardo Vaz Te hattrick helped the then Championship Hammers on their way to a 6-0 win and promotion back to the Premier League.
