10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Old-fashioned picnic and Homecoming with the Indian Women's Pocahontas Club, Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch in Oologah. Open to the public. No admission fee. Join in the 125th Anniversary celebration with games, food and native artisans. Gates open 9 a.m.

10:30 — 11:30 a.m. — Art for Art's Sake Writer's Workshop, Will Rogers Library meeting room. Adults 18 plus. Registration required. Learn how to develop a story plot, use a narrative arc and apply to enrich writing in stories and poetry.
