Pride in London is only six days away as the eagerly anticipated festival returns for 2024. A huge parade is set to close parts of Central London on Saturday, June 29, while there will be other performances taking place nearby.

While the festivities are ongoing, Pride in London has confirmed the family area will be moved to a larger location for this year. Between midday and 6pm, Victoria Embankment Gardens will be open to families.

It's situated near Embankment London Underground station, also a short walk from both Charing Cross and Waterloo stations.

What can I expect in the Pride in London family area?

This year the event will have lots of free entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. It will include stage performances, art classes, a photo booth, and activities led by the Scouts.

On top of this, adults and children alike can get involved in - Musical Bingo, Singalong Kidz Kabaret, Drag Queen Story Hour, and even a parade with a Stiltwalker.

The family area will be open for the same duration that the parade is set to take place - between midday and 6pm. Attendees have been told to assemble in Park Lane.

The procession will then travel down Piccadilly, crossing Piccadilly Circus, travelling down Haymarket, turning left towards Trafalgar Square and dispersing on Whitehall Place.
