Game of Thrones is notorious for being totally merciless, dispatching major characters in brutal fashion and at a rate of knots.

But now that the HBO series has overtaken George RR Martin's original novels, no-one knows who'll be next on the chopping block.

With just a dozen or so episodes left, who will make it to the final stretch, and who'll fall at the final hurdle?
