Celebrity Big Brother's Jemma Lucy has revealed the real reason she was disowned by her parents – and where she ended up.

Chatting to fellow housemates Brandi Glanville and Amelia Lily, Jemma opened up about her teenage years.

And it turns out she was on Brat Camp UK back in 2005...

"Because there was no school, really, that would take me, they sent me to this place in America," Jemma told Brandi and Amelia.

"They told me it was a skiing holiday. I got tricked. I got lied to. So when I was there, I was like, 'You want me to be a good kid, but you sent me here based on a load of lies?'"

And it's not the first time she's talked about her relationship with her family, as in November 2016, Jemma revealed on her Snapchat that her mum had disowned her.

"I just wanted to share something with you guys. I want to change the judgemental-ness of this world. Being judgemental is the most disgusting trait ANYONE can have, and it infuriates me," Jemma said.

"People should never be judged by the way they look, the colour of their skin, the colour of their hair or the way they dress. My aim in life as a career goal is to change that as much as I can."

She added: "My own mum disowned me purely because of the career that I have and the tattoos that I have quite a while ago.

"I now don't have a mum, or a relationship with a mum because of the way I look. So from personal experience, I don't want anyone else to go through that."

Celebrity Big Brother airs on Channel 5.
