If you've been enjoying Netflix's wonderful British comedy-drama Sex Education, you may have noticed a familiar face – even if you haven't been able to quite figure where you've seen them before.
Hannah Waddingham appears in two episodes playing Sofia Marchetti, one of Jackson's (Kedar Williams) two mothers. But fans of Game of Thrones know her better for shouting "Shame!" at Cersei Lannister.
The British actress appeared as Septa Unella in seasons five and six of the HBO fantasy drama, most notably forcing Cersei (Lena Headey) to admit her crimes after her arrest by the High Sparrow and then following her while ringing a bell and shouting "Shame!" during her punishment.
Netflix UK's Twitter account pointed out the link by sharing a side-by-side of the two characters and informed fans: "If you couldn't put your finger on exactly why you (and Maeve) were scared of Jackson's mum on Sex Education, *shame* on you."

Hannah has also appeared in episodes of British comedies My Family, Benidorm and Not Going Out.
She's also an established theatre actress and has starred in a production of Into the Woods, as well as originating the role The Wicked Witch of the West in the West End production of The Wizard of Oz.
Sex Education has already proven to be a big hit for Netflix, but while the streaming service is yet to confirm whether we’ll be getting a second season, creator Laurie Nunn appears confident.
"We have started working on it," she told Thrillist. "But we will not find out obviously whether we will get another series for another couple of months. It's all up in the air."
