England take on Slovenia on Tuesday, June 25 and Brummies who want to watch the beautiful game in a beer garden can't go far wrong with one of Birmingham's most exciting food venues. Hockley Social Club is screening the football down at their venue a brief walk from St Paul's tram stop in the Jewellery Quarter.

Hockley Social is known for being the incubator of some of Birmingham's best street food businesses and they've got eight screens at their venue, with space both inside and on the terrace to watch the games. Visitors can get scran from four rotating street food vendors and sup pints while watching England win 6-0 (we're nothing if not optimistic).

You don't have to pay for entry and it's first come, first served on tables. There's loads of room in the former 10,000sq ft printing factory and it opens on Tuesday from 12 for food and drinks if you want to get in early.

If you'd rather baggsi a table, you can reserve a head of time (by emailing bookings@hockleysocialclub.com) but just note that there's a minimum spend on drinks packages. There's loads of room at the bar.

We've got a list of Birmingham's best beer gardens to enjoy in the sun here, if you're looking for other venues to chill out in. There's also a big list here of Euro fan zones and sports bars, loads of which offer food and drinks packages if you want to hang out with friends watching live sport - seeing it at home is one thing but not much replicates the experience of a big crowd.
