'Wild and exotic' new venue with garden area and porcelain décor

The company behind Emily's Formby and Liverpool city centre's Brunch and Cocktail Club are opening a third venue.

Emily's Formby has become a breakfast and brunch spot and has earned rave reviews from diners.

The Brunch and Cocktail Club is on Duke Street. The company behind both say their new venture, Penelope's, will offer more of what guests have come to love.

Penelope's is located on Rotten Row, Southport, and is set to open its doors very shortly. A spokesperson told the ECHO although a "visual thread" will carry between the venues, Penelope's will have a clear identity of its own.

Penelope's will keep with botanical themes but steer towards the more "wild and exotic" plant life, they said. The venue has also ditched their familiar green colours for a cool, Mediterranean blue interior with porcelain décorations.

Penelope's will launch with an open-fire grill and pizza oven to provide a more extensive evening menu. Diners can also expect an outdoor seating area catering for the warmer months.

"Finishing touches" are currently being put on the venue. Penelope's teased its grand opening as being "very soon."
