Wildfires Leaves Behind Charred Landscape in Marinha Grande

A deadly wildfire left behind a scorched and blackened landscape in northern Portugal as seen in this video from Monday, October 16.

Joss Pinheiro captured this video showing a charred roadside and forest while driving from Leiria to Marinha Grande, a community around 80 miles to the north of Lisbon. At least 36 people were killed in the latest outbreak of wildfires that erupted in northern Portugal and northwest Spain late on Sunday.
