Willow is worried about where she and Dean will live when they eventually get kicked out of squatting in the Pier Apartment. Unbeknown to Willow, Dean is screening calls from Brett – a loan shark he owes money to. Brett ambushes Dean, demanding his money back within 24 hours.

Later, Dean reveals to Willow that he is being squeezed for the cash he used to save her. She freaks out when Dean reveals that his plan to get cash quickly is to skim credit cards at Salt. Dean distracts the Salt staff as Willow fixes the machine with the skimmer. Dean suggests they should find a hideout in Salt so they can grab the skimmer at the end of the night.

Willow sees Irene using her card on the skimmer and guilt takes hold. Dean tells her not to worry as the banks reimburse skimmed cash, but this is little comfort to Willow. When Willow collects the skimmer, she wonders if they should throw it away and find another way to get the money.

Unbeknown to them, Alf is downstairs in the Surf Club office finishing up for the night. As Dean and Willow make a run for it, they knock Alf over, leaving him unconscious on the floor. Will Alf be okay?

Meanwhile, Catherine from the foster agency shows up on the Palmers' doorstep. Catherine explains her visit is because of a hospital and police report from when Ty went missing. John is quick to put up a fight to keep Ty.

Later, Raffy meets Ty, who reminds him of how he made her feel like the problem in their relationship. Ty offers an apology, admitting that he was confused and shouldn't have strung her along like he did. Ty offers to leave as the Palmers' is Raffy's home, but she insists they both should stay.
