Winter Wonderland as Trees Covered by Hoarfrost in Minnesota

Trees were covered by hoarfrost, creating a mesmerising winter wonderland in Graceville, Minnesota.

Carol Bauer uploaded video that showed the tree branches blanketed by frozen crystals, on December 7.

The hoarfrost is formed when “the invisible water vapour of the atmosphere passes into the ice crystal phase without going through the intermediate liquid phase,” an encyclopedia website wrote. Credit: Carol Bauer via Storyful
