Woman, 89, dies after three-car crash

An 89-year-old woman has died after a three-car crash in Hemel Hempstead.

Herts Police are appealing for witnesses, information, and dash cam footage after being called to Queensway, near the veterinary surgery, shortly after 4.20pm yesterday (May 23).

A red Citroen C1, blue Renault Megane, and grey Ford Fiesta were involved. This afternoon, it has been confirmed that an 89-year-old woman, who was driving the Citroen, died at the scene.

A Herts Police spokesperson said: “Investigations continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision and officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit are appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.
