A drug dealer has been jailed after police caught her stuffing more than £1,000 worth of cocaine in her trousers.

Holly Jones, 22, of Goldsmith Close, Thatcham, was sentenced to two years and six months in prison and ordered to forfeit drugs, her mobile phone and cash at Reading Crown Court on Friday, May 3.

At a hearing at the same court on March 19, Jones pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, namely heroin and crack cocaine.

Thames Valley Police officers stopped Holly, who was driving an Audi A3 on Jesse Terrace, Reading, on August 23, 2021.

Police searched Jones under the Misuse of Drugs Act after officers saw her put something down her trousers.

Roughly 70 wraps of class A drugs were found, with a value in the region of £1,400.

She was arrested the same day and charged on January 9 this year.

Investigating officer PC James Dunwell, based at Reading police station, said: “We will proactively target and prosecute offenders and our activity will be both visible and covert aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders involved in the supply of drugs.

“If you have any information related to the supply of drugs in Reading then please contact us by calling 101 or making a report online.
