World's Oldest Man Turns 113 in Venezuela

The world’s oldest man, Venezuelan Juan Vicente Perez Mora, celebrated his 113th birthday on May 27, local officials said.

A celebration of the day was held in his home state of Tachira. One of 10 children, Perez Mora was born in El Cobre, Tachira, in 1909, according to Guinness World Records.

According to local officials, Perez Mora’s descendants include “11 children, 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.”

“Juan Vicente is in good health and has an exceptional memory,” according to Guinness World Records.
