Jackie Wilson - suffered a heart attack

Curtis Mayfield - paralysed

David Bowie - eye injury
The Starman hitmaker suffered an eye injury on stage in June 2004 in Oslo, Norway, when he was struck with a lollipop from the crowd which lodged between his eyeball and eye socket. Jedward – Tore knee ligaments
Jedward’s Edward Grimes had to be rushed to hospital after collapsing on stage clutching his leg during a performance at T4 On The Beach. It later emerged he’d torn knee ligaments and required surgery. The incident was captured on live TV and was broadcast to millions.

Jethro Tull - hit by bucket of urine
Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson once got a bucket of urine chucked over his head during a show at New York’s Shea Stadium in 1976.

Iggy took things too far during the Stooges’ final live performance when they first broke up in 1974. The frontman got badly beaten up by a motorbike gang he’d challenged on the radio beforehand. Frank Zappa - head injuries/venue burnt down
Frank was playing a show in London in 1971 when he was pushed into a concrete orchestra pit by a guy who thought the singer was eyeing up his missus. He suffered a crushed larynx and head trauma.
