X Factor 2016: Finalists ‘leaked’ – Yes Lad and James Hughes fail to make it past Judges’ Houses?

Following X Factor’s Six Chair Challenge chaos this weekend, all of the remaining contestants are set to jet off to Judges’ Houses – but it looks like two hopeful acts can already be ruled out of the LIVE shows.

In a tweet posted by HallowScreamUK, the organisers of a spooky attraction “confirmed” two X Factor acts – who are currently still in the singing competition – for an event on Saturday, November 5.

Yes Lad – who were dropped on Sunday night in favour of Ottavio and Bradley, but have been selected as a wildcard act – appear to be headlining the gig while James Hughes also features on the line-up, alongside Girl Next Door who were eliminated over the weekend.

In the revealing tweet, the site wrote: “Confirmed @YESLADBAND 5th Nov @HallowScreamUK meet and greet tickets http://www.hallowscreamuk.co.uk.”

The five-piece boyband retweeted the announcement on their account after previously inviting fans to the gig, writing: “We’re playing @HallowScreamUK on 5th Nov! Wanna see you guys there! Who’s coming?! #LadsArmy”

Baby diva James Hughes has also been confirmed for HallowScream 2016 as the attraction tweeted: “Smashed it !! @_JBHughes @TheXFactor see James at @hallowscreamuk.co.uk.”

However fans were quick to notice that the date of the event would clash with the X Factor live shows, suggesting that both acts are unsuccessful in the next round of the competition.

One fan wrote in response: “But that is a Saturday and that means that you are not going trough (sic) to live shows.”

On the other hand, their time slots at the gig could be scheduled before or after the X Factor LIVE show airs – especially since the location isn’t too far from the ITV studios in London – or they might be booking performances in the event of being eliminated early.

For now, the two acts will continue on in the competition, joining their categories at the Judges Houses and battling it out for a place in the LIVE shows – so let’s hope that we’re in for a treat (rather than a trick) this weekend!

The X Factor continues on ITV Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7.30pm.
