X Factor 2016: Honey G given special treatment with her own room in contestants' house

It’s easy to see why some X Factor viewers are getting a little bit disgruntled with the special treatment that controversial rapper Honey G is getting.

As well as having her own ‘Doggy G’ segment in each of the weekly live shows, the contestant’s mum is also a staple part of The Xtra Factor and now it has been revealed that Honey G is also being given preferential treatment off-camera too.

And the reason is because she’s, erm, “special”.

Speaking on the Radio One Breakfast Show with Scott Mills this morning, the aspiring star, real name Anna Guildford, explained: “I have my own room because I’m special like that. Hip hop stars who are rich and famous who’ve made it probably don’t sleep in bunk beds.”

We wonder how the other contestants feel about that, eh?

The revelation comes after an anonymous relative came forward to claim that Honey G’s family are mortified by the 35-year-old’s antics.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the mystery person explained: “To the nation Honey G is funny to watch but to her family it’s embarrassing.

"She has always lived in the shadow of her sister and finally this is her time to get attention - but it’s painful to watch.

"Anna is a very sensitive soul and to watch her being mocked by the nation is upsetting.”

Honey G and the other X Factor finalists will return to the stage on Saturday for this week’s 'Fright Night’ theme.
