X Factor: Leona Lewis To Perform At The Final

Leona Lewis has confirmed that she’s joined the mega line-up for the X Factor final, hinting that she’ll be duetting with one of the finalists.

Louisa Johnson, who’s already confirmed to be singing with mentor Rita Ora, Ché Chesterman and Reggie ‘N’ Bollie will be battling it out to be crowned X Factor champion this weekend.

Leona, who won the show in 2006, told Good Morning Britain hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid: “They asked me a couple of weeks ago… it’s a bit of a surprise actually, because it’s not just me.”

So, could she be singing with Ché or will she be joining Reggie ‘N’ Bollie? Either way, we can’t WAIT to see what happens.

One Direction and Coldplay are both confirmed to be performing during the final too, with Simon Cowell apparently very keen to get Adele on board.

A source told The Mirror: “Coldplay are a huge act, and this will be a key performance.

“There’ve collaborated with Beyonce, Noel Gallagher and even Chris’s ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow appears on the album. Who knows who they could bring as a surprise guest?

“That topped with an emotional goodbye from the 1D boys as they bid farewell from the stage where they were formed will make for a great show.”

Speaking about a potential Adele performance, a source added: “Adele would be a huge draw for the show and producers are desperate to snare her. She’s the biggest star in the world at the moment, and they’d love her to team up with one of the girls or Che.

“It would be a Beyonce-style moment for the contestant and would make great TV. But that’s down to Adele, it’s her call.”

Adele herself previously told KISS FM: “It would have to depend on who’s in the final. It depends who’s in it. If they’re rubbish, then no, I won’t.

“There was Ella Henderson I used to like. But she didn’t make it at the time. I mean, I was pregnant so I wouldn’t have done it. But like, if she was in it this year and she was in the final, I would probably do it with her.”

The X Factor final starts at 8pm on ITV on Saturday, continuing at 8pm on Sunday.
