X Factor's Lucy Spraggan shares first look at wedding as Simon Cowell walks her down the aisle

X Factor sensation Lucy Spraggan has delighted fans by sharing the first enchanting photos from her recent nuptials with Emilia.

Lucy, who shot to fame on the hit talent show in 2012, exchanged vows earlier this month but had kept images of the occasion under wraps until now. She initially teased followers with glimpses of the pre-wedding excitement and their romantic honeymoon.

After her previous marriage ended, Lucy found joy again with Emilia, celebrating their love at a breathtaking venue. Music mogul Simon Cowell, 64, had the honour of escorting Lucy down the aisle.

It marks a poignant moment in their friendship which blossomed after Lucy moved past the lack of support she felt during her time on the renowned talent series over a decade ago, the Mirror reports.

The newlyweds are captured beaming in the photographs released to Hello magazine as they descend the staircase at Saltmarshe Hall in East Yorkshire, with Simon applauding in the background.

"Mrs and Mrs Spraggan-Smith," Lucy captioned the heartwarming post, adding the date "14.6.24." For the big day, Lucy wore a bespoke white suit by King and Allen, while Emilia dazzled in an exquisite dress.

Celebrity guests included Simon Cowell, his partner Lauren Silverman, actor Tom Turgoose, Ru Paul's Drag Race icon Bimini Bon-Boulash, and Love Island's Adam Collard.

The comments section was flooded with messages of congratulations, with Bimini Bon Boulash exclaiming: "So gorgeous!!!" and Lizzie Cundy adding: "Wow! Huge congratulations my darlings."

One admirer gushed: "You both look so beautiful," and another added: "How beautiful are you both!? Congratulations."

Lucy opened up about her wedding day, describing it as the 'perfect' experience, especially as she made her entrance to her own tune, Other Sides of the Moon. Overwhelmed with emotion, she confessed to being in tears even before making her way down the aisle alongside Simon.

Lucy shared with Hello magazine: "Simon and I were standing outside the door and my song started playing. I was already crying, and Simon definitely had a tear in his eye. I was linking arms with him but then I realised I was holding on to his arm. He kept saying, 'You're OK, you're all right.' Then when Emilia walked in with her dad I just sobbed."

Simon expressed how 'honoured' he felt to be chosen to escort her down the aisle, acknowledging the gravity of the moment. Speaking to the same publication, he reflected: "Being asked to walk her down the aisle made me realise the significance and importance of that role.

"And throughout the day, I was thinking even though it's been a relatively short time, we do feel like family, and we share a very special bond."
