This Year's Celebrity MasterChef Line-Up Is Here!
If there's one thing we love, it's MasterChef We love John Torode and Gregg Wallace making weird noises when they eat, we love the questionable dishes that get served up sometimes, and we love thinking that we could 100% do better (we couldn't). And what's even better than regular MasterChef? It's when the BBC show gets celebrities involved.
Celebrity MasterChef will be back in 2020, which is a wonderful miracle in the current climate. We don't have an exact start date, but we hear it's coming in the summer, so watch this space.
But here's everything we do know so far about Celebrity MasterChef 2020 - including the line-up. And with Baga Chipz competing this year, we get the feeling this series will be "much better" than any other series so far...
When does Celebrity Masterchef 2020 start?
There is still no scheduled air date for Celebrity MasterChef, but we do know that it was filmed before lockdown, so the format has not changed from usual series. When the line-up was announced on social media, the caption read: "Here's the line-up of celebs who will be competing to be crowned Celebrity MasterChef 2020 this summer on @BBCOne and @BBCiPlayer." So, don't make any plans this summer. Not that we were going to anyway...
Celebrity MasterChef 2020 line-up
This year's celebrity contestants have been revealed, and it's an eclectic mix of familiar faces.
The twenty contestants include tennis coach Judy Murray, Drag Race UK finalist Baga Chipz, ex-footballer John Barnes, rapper Lady Leshurr and TV presenter Gethin Jones.
As well as this, the 2020 line-up also includes the show's first-ever blind contestant: TV presenter Amar Latif.

Celebrity MasterChef 2020 presenters and judges
Unless we hear otherwise, we're assuming that John Torode and Gregg Wallace will return to judge Celebrity MasterChef 2020. John and Gregg have fronted the show since it began in 2006, and it just wouldn't be the same without them. We'd also love to see MasterChef royalty, Monica Galetti, make an appearance too.
What is the Celebrity MasterChef 2020 format?
After four weeks of heats, the semi-final and final week will see the celebrities tasked with cooking for 100 people for a special anniversary lunch, a takeaway themed Invention Test, and cooking for celebrity chef Aldo Zilli.
